Marketing executive, make-up artist, modest icon - Dubai-born Ghaya Almuhairy takes it all in her stride. It’s clear to see she has a natural eye for elegance, choosing timeless pieces that may not shout individually, but styled together exude classic, beautiful quality. A lover of heels, she slips into Malone Souliers and Gianvito Rossi to sit down with Level Shoes.

How do you feel the perfect pair of shoes elevate your looks?
Heels are very important to me. I think every lady should own the perfect pair of red-bottomed Christian Louboutin heels or elegant Malone Souliers. I feel they add an elegant and feminine touch to the whole look, and they give you an air of confidence as well.

What are your favourite styling tips and tricks for modest dressing?
I don’t have a specific tip that I can give or any that I even follow, I just always say to people ‘wear what makes you confident and comfortable’ and ‘dress up for yourself, not for others’. I think this is the best advice I can give, or anyone could take when getting dressed.

If you weren’t in the beauty industry, what else would you be doing?
I would be a fitness coach.

If you could click your heels and transport to anywhere, where would it be and what would you pack?
An island would be perfect right now! I would pack my floral dresses, lots of flowing white outfits and of course, plenty of beautiful sandals.

Which Middle Eastern women do you look to for style inspiration?
There are so many women in the region with beautiful, authentic and elegant personal style. Some of my favourites are Asma Al Qassim, Nouf al Tamimi, Mariam AlYassi and Aisha Alaqeel.
